Got one last week for this price(minus the lens) and I love it. (also own GP max, Insta360 4k, DSLRs etc)
On bright sunny days, DJI out of box colors are like a painting.
On cloudy days, colors get slightly soft (less contrast)
- The gimbal whips are super smooth for something so small.
- Some features (tracking?) won't work on Pro mode 4K etc so read up.
- No built in wireless...$99 for that add-on. That's a blue ball. So, you have plug it into your phone/pad.
- It's clunky with this next to your phone or pad. A holder for both is almost required.
- Oh, if your micro ssd isn't fast enough when 4k 30/60 is set, it may stop on you but only output a very short warning which I missed couple of times. I put in a SDSQXA1-256G-GN6MA.
Blame this book on caffeine, but hope that help someone on the fence.
I have the first version of this and it's pretty neat but honestly it sits on a shelf more often than not
I have this camera and use it for youtube. I shoot outdoors mainly and the wide angle lens is not particularly useful because the native lens is already pretty wide and because it's not compatible with ND filters. I would say you should wait for the base camera to go on sale if you are looking at this. DJI usually releases products on a 2 year cycle, and this one came out last year.
I also have the first version of this camera, and even though it's 2 years older, if you can live with the slightly narrower field of view, it's got more natural looking color reproduction and the performance is essentially the same. You could get a used one of those for about 100-150 most of the time and I think that's a good place to start if you are interested in this sort of thing.

This deal is the standard MSRP of the black version of the Pocket 2. The only "deal" is the inclusion of the additional lens, which shows up as "will ship when available" when you place the order.
I initially thought it was about $90 off the MSRP of the Pocket 2 until I revisited the DJI site and saw that the site defaults to the white version of the Pocket 2, which is priced substantially higher. Select the black version and it's the same price as this deal (if the additional lens is that important to you, you may consider this to be a good deal - for me, not).
I'll be waiting for Black Friday prices, thank you.
I have the first version and I use it all the time for content creation for my job. Quick social media posts and edits and such. I recommend it if you need it for quick videos.
I picked up a OP1 a while back and am using it on vacation in Hawaii. It's good for recording short clips and the gimbal is amazing compared to the Karma Gimbal + GoPro 7 Hero Black I have. The iPhone 12/13 will always be better in terms of video sensor quality but the OP1 is just so handy + the gimbal.

No, not that I know of.
It does drain faster when using Pro mode.

Here is a video comparing the OP1 vs. Fimi Palm 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUpIvMt
I really wanted the Fimi Palm 2 to be better but it still lacks in video quality when compared to the Osmo Pocket 1 in my opinion as well.
