I got my iPhone SE2 through Walmart. And even a year later the deals on that phone are 5$ cheaper than what I'm paying a month. Still a cheap price for the phone and I'm happy. Hopefully they come out with a SE3 that has Touch ID but a full body screen for 400$. That would be the perfect iPhone

Not sure if they'd do it again. Became a hot deal last year.

I unfortunately believe everyone will be disappointed. I have not seen any retailer other than Apple itself, sell a sim free unlocked phone without carrier activation for a very long time. This wasn't always the case, but it certainly has been recently. There were some years where you couldn't even order it sim free unlocked without a carrier directly from Apple!

I'm fairly confident this will only be available with the "up to $100 off" when you buy the phone outright with activation on AT&T or Verizon. I will definitely be checking the site in the morning, but I foresee me going through with my Apple preorder I have ready.
