Major credit cards give you 1 year extended warranty, buying high price electronics by using gift cards is seriously dumb!
On anything but apple yes
I've never had a apple phone break. My first phone was 3g then 4s and now se (I'm on original 32gb se right now) I'm upgrading to 13 mini in 15 mins lol.
I'm not concerned w apple warranty on phones. Shit works

It depends. Credit card gives 1 year additional warranty. Not all of them need the warranty and are ok to get a discount. My calculations below for a 128GB iPad pro 12.9 from edu store.
Using gift cards I pay $855 vs $999 if paid by credit card. I will save around $145 and if needed I can buy Applecare+ for 2nd year warranty for $120.
If you take into account 3% cashback on credit card, then the difference is only $115. Now if I choose to take Applecare+, I pay only $5 extra compared to 2nd year warranty from credit card which I think is a better option.
If I order iPhone 13 n few mins, can I do return rebuy at store using gift cards or maybe apple can add 3 gift cards to my order idk
Put in a preorder with my credit card for in store pickup. Not sure if they'll charge me before I pick it up or at the time of pick up. I don't see any charges on my credit card yet, but it does say "Pay in Full" with my credit card on the order details.
If it's at the time of pickup, wonder if they'll let me split the payments for some gift cards.

You are wrong while saying people, who do this, is dumb
The fact that if you charged your credit card even $1 for buying stuffs, the warranty still applies for the thing you buy
If you actually look at the T&C for most cards, they only cover up to the amount actually charged to the card.

Target has no limit on the GC you are buying. BBY has 1 per address.
Still have a few K Apple GCs left from last holiday from Target.
