If you are a new customer and want to get the GC instead of bill credits
1) Port in as a new customer with your existing phone (BYOD)
2) After line ported in, ask for upgrade; you pay the full price ($729 for the iPhone 13 mini and so on).
3) Anywhere between 4 - 12 weeks after, you'll get a $300 gift card.
4) After 60 days service and paying at least one billing cycle - you can request unlock of the iphone.
5) After unlocking + getting the GC : you can cancel service or continue as you wish.

I've had Xfinity and now have Visible and they are really pretty much identical in my area.
If you do need unlimited data - Visible at $25 with partypay is a lot cheaper than Xfinity unlimited at 45 for single line; even the multi-lines don't reach 25 until 8 lines, and qualifying for 8 lines on a single plan does take some effort (I've been on Xfinity for over 3 years now and still restricted to a total of 6).
OTOH - if you don't use much data (WFH, in wifi-zones, don't use data on the move - no streaming, offline google maps etc.) - it can be a steal. 5 unlimited voice + text lines sharing 1 GB data for around $22 ($15 + taxes and fees) is a steal; works out at around $4 per line per month. That's even lower than the cost of 1 line on Visible.
Terrible customer service, even the escalation team is outsourced Indian call center.
I confirmed it this morning with a live agent if we would be eligible for the $300 GC and we are. I screenshot it just in case.

I reached out to CS to get it unlocked and it works fine with my TMobile sim.
If you are a new customer, you will not be able to pay it off faster and unlock to switch to another carrier. Doing so you will forfeit bill credits.
The $300 GC apples to existing lines only.
