I'd also be interested in any Pixel deals. Too bad I don't see any Pixels available on Xfinity right now. Has Xfinity cut ties with the Google Pixel line?

If these generous ($300) Xfinity mobile promotions are commonplace AND Xfinity will carry the Pixel going forward, I'd consider upgrading to a newer Pixel myself and letting my daughters inherit our perfectly functional Pixel 3a's. That way we stay in the Pixel ecosystem which I like so much (Android, free google photos, etc).

If not, I have a conundrum to run past you smart people:
  • I'm a current Xfinity mobile customer. 5 lines active. Customer service says I qualify for 2 more. We pay $12/gig. We are relatively long-time Xfinity mobile customers (> 2 years).
  • I want to add my younger daughters as the 6th and 7th lines. They don't currently have any cell phone plan. Hence, they don't qualify for the $300 discount if I add them directly to my plan.
  • My wife and I each have Pixel 3a's that we are perfectly content with. BYOD. Paid in full. We'd prefer to keep them. However, both of us are eligible for the $300 iphone discount.
  • Therefore, it seems that the only way to get the iPhone promotion for my daughters is to do the following:
    • "Upgrade" my wife's and my Pixel 3a's to an iphone. Pay in full. Get $300 prepaid Visa in the mail.
    • Activate the iPhone with new numbers and give the phones to my daughters.
    • Presumably, the above step will disactivate our Pixels from Xfinity.
    • We then request to add two new lines via BYOD and reactivate them on Xfinity's network. I couldn't care less about retaining the existing phone numbers. Nor would I care about being phone-less for a week while the sim card is in the mail.
Does the above sound plausible? It seems like a pain in the rear, but I can't figure out a better way of having my daughters qualify for the $300 discount without these shenanigans.

If anyone can help me avoid the stupidity of the above scenario, that would be appreciated.

Thanks!!!!!
This is fine. Activating the new SIMs that come with the iPhone will take at most half a day. You can then swap newly activated SIMs back to the Pixels.

However, I recommend that before you take the SIMs out of the iPhones to place back into the Pixels, you should immediately go online to do 2 BYOD orders using the IMEIs of the Pixels. If you SIM-swap beforehand, the order won't go through, because Xfinity will see that the Pixels have been improperly swapped in. That makes your BYOD order not being able to go through. You want to place the order first before swapping the SIMs back to the Pixels. I would actually wait until you see a shipment confirmation. Once your daughters' SIMs arrive in the mail, they can be activated with any phone that is compatible with Xfinity, including the new iPhones.

The other thing you should remember to do is that in 60 days, when you are ready to request to unlock the iPhones, you need to swap the SIMs from the Pixels that you are using back to the iPhones. Only then should you call Xfinity CS to request a device unlock. When fully unlocked, you can then swap back again.

Very nice! Did you get the gold color? That one seemed to have the earliest estimated delivery.
I was really thinking about getting gold but wound up switching up to the SB... thats likely going to bite me in the ass given how many others probably bought the SB as well.

If I buy an iPhone 11 on Xfinity Mobile, is it possible for me to get an iPhone someone else returned to Xfinity Mobile? What does Xfinity Mobile do with the returned iPhones if the iPhone is not defective? Does Xfinity Mobile just repack the returned iPhones and sell it as brand new device?

a day or two post activation
I purchased an iPhone 11 on 09/19/21, and placed another order after the first phone delivered and activated.
Now I can see $300 appears on 09/19/21, which is for the first order. But I did not see the other $300 for the second order.
Is there a limitation for reward cards?
Thanks!

I see my $300 GC too but I'm wondering if I'll get the $50.00 customer reward GC that shows up in on the reward website. I did get a $50.00 GC for being a XM customer already.

My unlocked IPhone XR that I bought from Xfinity two years ago does not recognize ATT sim. It looks like their unlocked iPhones only work on the Verizon wireless network. The resale value of their phones are reduced a lot due to the limitation to Verizon network only.
What is your iPhone XR model number? You can check it in the Settings —> General —> About. From what I understand Apple sold in US only two models of XR: A1984 and A2105, but both should support AT&T carrier networks. Only A2105 didn't support Verizon & Sprint.
You should also check if your iPhone is indeed unlocked by Xfinity Mobile. For that go to the same 'About' section in Settings and check 'Carrier lock' value. It should say 'No SIM restriction' or something similar.

Claimed both the $50 visa gc and $100 rebate for new phone purchase off xfinity rewards last month and placed/received my iPhone 13 Pro back on 25th

I saw the $300 iPhone rebate showing up on xfinityrewardstatus as pending fulfillment but the $50 visa gc and $100 new phone purchase rebate status is no where to be found

Ayone else is in similar situation?

What will be the cheapest way to get a new mobile number to transfer to Xfinity? Noticed the $300 offer is available for new customers only when we transfer the number. For any new numbers from Xfinity, it is $12.50 more per month which is expensive.

As has been mentioned here earlier… use ting. With Xfinity even Google voice works but (sometimes) takes longer to port over, mine took 3 days for this deal.

My question:
I claimed the reward for buying Xfinity device from 'Rewards program' but don't see it in reward center as a card in status check, has anyone done it? What's your status?
My other $50 card for being a 'loyal' customer does show there in status as waiting to be received

Hi, this is the XR model: MRYR2LL/A. I got the phone 3 years ago when it was first released. Carrier lock: No SIM restriction.

Your phone should support GSM/CDMA/LTE bands, so it's good to use with AT&T carrier.

I went into a store and the rep said that the $300 would be taken off the purchase price that day if I paid in full ($499 for the iphone 11). I already have 6 lines but she checked and I can add 2 lines more. I was surprised by that.
So to get the $300 I would to port in a new number. She mentioned creating a GoogleVoice number. I'm going to try that this weekend and see how it goes.
