I have their lever lock. For me, fingerprint sensor works well and quick. Everyone else in the family seems to have some issues with their prints or not placing their fingers right.
Notifications with the wifi module/gw are also very iffy (if it comes in, it comes in). And they have some archaic setup where you need to create a rule for every person to alert on (wtf).
The lock mechanism had issues after a few months... They promptly replaced it and it's been fine since.

I now have 2 of these for my home, the older v1 works just as well as v2. The only visible difference between the two are the external buttons. v1 has rounded harder rubber buttons, v2 has flat softer rubber buttons. Don't know if either is more resilient to the elements.
When I've had random issues with the lock customer service has been quite good. They're very willing to send out replacement parts if they can determine a piece has failed. Most recently my new v2 was missing threading in a screw hole on the exterior housing. Obviously you can't assemble the lock if the main screw won't attach. They replaced it no problem.
As everyone has mentioned here, the app is probably their biggest drawback. It is slow and laggy to connect, but provided your wifi bridge is properly located, it eventually connects. The 'smart notifications' could be much, much smarter. The only notification I really want is if the lock stays unlocked for some amount of time. Not even an option.
I don't use auto-open or proximity unlock, so I can't speak to that function. That option seems to be a big issue for lots of smart lock manufacturers. The firmware for the lock seems to get regular updates, though there is no changelog so it's hard to say what gets updated.
Still, it's a great lock otherwise and the fingerprint sensor is so handy, especially for my daughter.

Also, how reliable this website is and their return policy?
A distance within 50 feet between the Bridge and the WiFi router" and Blue tooth is only 3m/10ft (pg 11 U-Bolt Pro install guide) or go here https://support.u-tec.com/hc/en-u...U-Bolt-Pro and here https://support.u-tec.com/hc/en-u...loq-Bridge you can see the limitations on how this effects performance of the features. It seems the radio signals are not strong so distance from the lock for those functions are short. Hope this helps. I have the UL3-BT for more than 2 years and love it. Installing the U-Bolt Pro today on garage door, don't need bridge function. I'm liking KEYLESS life.. not buying into "REMOTE" via Google, Alexa and such. Staying with "LOCAL" keyless.
