For some, paying less now and in total, plus not worrying about the credits, is worth it.
Random T-Mobile numbers are getting this error message after entering phone number and SSN. "We're sorry, there was an issue processing your request. Please try again later." This is also happening on Apple's websites to those same numbers having the issues. T-Mobile is trying to fix the issue, but does not have an ETA.
So did some math and realized it's not really any great deal. (Good deal so far but you find better deals later if you are no in a hurry).

Im upgrading / trading my iphone 11 pro max .
Pre-ordered yesterday 09/23/2021 around 10 AM.
got a text an email this morning saying its ready to pick up.( was kinda surprised about this , but ig because this best buy has less people preordered , or got more stock , im in missouri)
I backed up my old phone to my computer . and reset the phone.
Got to best buy( I was one of the first 3 people there so i got help right away) , the guy asked me for my order number and name, then told me to get with a lady.
the entire pick up was about 15 mins, she asked for my id , then my old phone, she spent most of the time input stuff into the system. I confirmed on the machine my info is correct. she handed me the new iphone new in box with a sim card on top. I asked if she need to activate the phone or anything and she said no , when i put in the phone it should activate it self. got the phone and the receipt , now im heading home.
She didnt open the new phone box at all , she didnt ask if I need to transfer my old phone data to the new phone ( might be she noticed my old phone got reset)
Only do it if you have a iPhone 8 or below.
Not worth $700/800 after all the hassle that you have to go through.

anywho, after 30 minutes of waiting they get to me and of course their system gets screwed, which results in another 30 minutes of monkeys running around trying to find a solution. But turns out that BestBuy / T-Mobile were even more idiotic and didnt fully prepare for this wave and their little authentication system went down. So now I am here reporting in, waiting.

Just got back with it! Only one other pickup then, the guy said it was busy in the morning then slowed down. Took 10 minutes, they put in my XS as "perfect" and let me walk out with it sealed - the only thing was the receipt said "$220 trade in" promo 0. The guy said is the carrier giving that $100 - I assumed no, but my order has not changed online and I didn't get any notice of change in price.
Setting it up now! Love the starlight! It's very subtle, almost like a slight creaminess - very sleek. Really like the look of the edges vs the curved but it is def not as comfortable without a case
Felt the display Mini - wow, for such a small form the screen looks GREAT! Would be ideal if you need a heavy Otterbox etc case and don't want something massive but need a bit more screen area...
