  • How Trade-In Works:
    1. Calculate your trade-in phone's value
    2. Buy your new phone online
    3. Complete your new phone purchase online and activate your phone on the carrier's network (Best Buy will help with all that.)
    4. Pick up your new phone in one of our stores
    5. Bring your trade-in phone with you when you pick up your new one. Best Buy will check to make sure you're trading in the same phone you told them about online and check for any damage that might make your trade-in ineligible for the promotion.
    6. Best Buy will take your trade-in's value off the cost of your new phone.
      • Trade-in value is calculated to represent a working phone that turns on and does not have a cracked or broken screen. Your phone will be evaluated when you trade it in to validate that it meets all requirements.
      • Your order must be picked up from a store to complete your trade-in and apply its value to your new phone purchase.

just picked up my iphone 13 pro max blue 128gb and here is the entire process:
Im upgrading / trading my iphone 11 pro max .
Pre-ordered yesterday 09/23/2021 around 10 AM.
got a text an email this morning saying its ready to pick up.( was kinda surprised about this , but ig because this best buy has less people preordered , or got more stock , im in missouri)
I backed up my old phone to my computer . and reset the phone.
Got to best buy( I was one of the first 3 people there so i got help right away) , the guy asked me for my order number and name, then told me to get with a lady.
the entire pick up was about 15 mins, she asked for my id , then my old phone, she spent most of the time input stuff into the system. I confirmed on the machine my info is correct. she handed me the new iphone new in box with a sim card on top. I asked if she need to activate the phone or anything and she said no , when i put in the phone it should activate it self. got the phone and the receipt , now im heading home.
She didnt open the new phone box at all , she didnt ask if I need to transfer my old phone data to the new phone ( might be she noticed my old phone got reset)

iPhone 13/pro is the weakest upgrade.
Only do it if you have a iPhone 8 or below.
Not worth $700/800 after all the hassle that you have to go through.
Your XR should be good through iPhone 14

I have a question. My cousin has SPECTRUM IPHONE 11 PRO MAX. He is trying to get rid of his phone. So I might buy it from him for $400. Is it possible to trade in that SPECTRUM IPHONE to get iphone 13 series? Is it eligible for trade in?
You should be able to trade in that 11 as long as it's not blacklisted/listed as stolen. Aside from that, I don't see why you can not, they are even taking phones that are still on an EIP. I assume the 11pm will give you maybe 600 off on the BB 13 deal, and you "net" 200$.

I would make sure you can place the order through BB before buying it off your cousin. And maybe even wait until you get your pick up date if your cousin don't mind waiting.

Can this deal be replicated IN STORE with a NEW LINE?

Cannot get passed the T-Mobile account error still.
Are you starting a new plan? Or just adding a line to an existing plan? If you're an existing customer, I would place the order in with another line in the plan where you can get through the verification code to hold the deal. Then go directly to T-Mobile to add the line. BB seem to have issues communicating with T-Mobile so I would limit the interaction if you can.

No ideas if you're trying to start a new T-Mobile plan via bb.

Can this be stacked with Costco BYOD $300 offer?

I am thinking I would go there first to create an account and then try ordering from Best Buy? Maybe it will work?

I have an iPhone XR and I'm on T-Mobile with an 8 member Simple Choice family plan and two different location Best Buy employees confirmed choosing the upgrade option does not change the plan or monthly payment if the phone is paid in full. Does anybody know for sure using this deal?

I am thinking about getting the iPhone 13 Mini... the breakdown is $599.99-$315 (trade-in credit) = $284.99 + tax. This seems like pretty solid value. Thoughts?

I tried to do a esim activation from old phone to new one.. picked up 13pro and told rep not to activate or open box.. he just scanned phone and sim and I walked home.. then I tried to do a phone to phone transfer with out any sim in 13pro and it won't activate iPhone.. so kept sim that came with it and activated phone.. once the transfer is done, I removed the physical sim and it's good to go with esim.. next step is to get it unlocked

Some people said you can do it. I would wait until the rebate status changes to Pending.

Looks like the deal is still on, at least for another week (BB chat told me the deal would end yesterday).

I did exactly this on a SC plan. Worked fine.
