I am guessing you mean Dolby vision as Dolby digital is sound.

Lol. A store showroom is the worst place to judge a tv.
You can't get a better image than oled.
Oleds always win in head to head comparisons by "pros".
I have two oleds. Zero burn in. Look at Rtings burn in tests. You have to abuse these tv's to get burn in.

It was rated high for monitor use. Gaming looks phenomenal on pc. buuut im using it also to work. So dont use it to work.
"So dont use it to work."

Who would? That would be stupid. You're asking for burn-in. That's what LCD's are for. Oleds aren't marketed as monitors.

Ordered a 77 lg c1 from video only for 2500 + tax.

Cancelled my sony a80j from costco.
It would be interesting if GT starts accepting $2500 offers. No video only for me.

my 2 cents. I boought the 55 cx oled in february. Today I saw my first burn in mark on the screen. Is from a window tittle bar that was white.
You sure it's burn in? Could be temporary image retention.

GT just offered me $2799. Tax and shipping included.

Now I am torn. After the GC from Buydig, it's about the same price (it pays for tax exactly). Except buydig offers the warranty as well.
This deal: $2997 + tax - GC = $3000-ish...GT is $2799 all-in... GT deal is effectively $200-ish less. Just need to decide if the 4 yr. warranty is worth $200 to you.

Yeah I got confused with the A1 price when I posted that and I can't figure out how to edit it.

I am not sure if the 4 yr warranty is worth it, especially if it doesn't cover burn in. Now I am wondering if getting it at costco and being able to price match during BF is better.
Decisions!

It sure is a dilemma, but according to the attached buydig link... burn-in is covered...

FYI Official price on LG.com is down to $2,999 - so this is still a good deal, but not the crazy $1k off that it is normally.

Normally $1k less? Praytell, where have you seen this TV selling for one thousand dollars less (less off of what price), and what was the final price after the discount? Confused

Got an accepted offer of 2799 on GT two days ago, but they haven't charged my card, or shipped it yet. Kinda wondering what the hold up is.
