This site had a deal for a keychain tool I already have so I decided to check if any of the other Leatherman tools they carried were on sale and found this
https://www.tacticalassaultgearst...m-box.html
300 supertool with leather case, might be a box rather than a clamshell so nicer for wrapping.
The supertool is the king of the leatherman original line. These tools house all the tools inside and have no outside accessible tools.
It comes with
- 4" Plain edge 420HC blade
- 4" serrated 420 HC sheephead blaade (easy to slip under a seatbelt to cut it without causing injury.)
- metal and wood file with a groover
- needle nose and regular pliers
- replaceable 154cm wire cutters, for hard and stranded wire
- wood saw
- 9" ruler
- awl
- 3 flat screwdrivers/prybars large medium and small
- dimensional phillips screwdriver
- can opener
- wire stripper
- crimper
- bottle opener
- lanyard attachment point.
- leather sheath
normal price at all the usual suspects is $90 so not quite half price.
this falls in the rebar, blast, kick, pst range of tools. it has most of what a wave has and some things the wave does not. It is designed to be a work tool more than a hobbiest tool.
super skookum as they say. I think when I got mine i paid $52 so this is likely an alltime low price for the ST300.
they also have the leatheman crunch for $93 which is about $20 less than everyplace that still has it. Not sure if the crunch is gone for good or gone for now. but if you want one...

Item 814209, Squirt PS4 Red Alum Box
However, I did just check my CC and it was refunded today. Today I get the refund and I got their email apology. Coincidence? Lol
We would like to inform you that we are currently processing your order GXXXXX containing item 907666, Super Tool 300 SS Prem Box. Your order will ship the first week of October
Is this a different item? Latter description says SS Prem box? Is the tool itself the same?
I'm in the same boat as everyone else: ordered on the 19th, posted on the 20th, cancelled on the 23rd and still no refund. However, this new e-mail now says to expect the refund in 3-5 business days, so I guess that pushes the timeline into next week.

I received a cancelation and refund email on Thursday morning, still no refund on my card as of Sunday night, tomorrow if nothing shows I will start the process with challenging this fraudulent charge. 🙄 *sigh*
*Note - I am not blaming everyone that bought in on this deal and had their cards charged prior to shipment. That was TAG's and LCI's fault. I'm merely confirming that this appears to be a legit American business that may have screwed up royally, but sounds like a good corp citizen being one of the largest employers of the blind... maybe at least try to give them a call before you file your chargeback disputes.
I was the phone with them for a half hour. I had 2 separate orders places. One was with googles (that I spent the evening researching to pick the right ones that I needed) and the other had 2 tools (not listed on slickdeals). Since I also ordered the 300 with one order and the squirt with the other, I got an order cancel email like everyone else. The card was only partially refunded so I called to see what the deal was. Turns out the other tools are on backorder for another couple weeks yet (there was just no email or communication to let me know) As far as the googles, they have no contact info for the vendor of the googles and have to get back to me to let me know if they will ship or be cancelled.
Benefit of the doubt or not, and I wish them the best, but from this experience it's been hard to buy something from them. Perhaps they are more geared for larger company orders and a little guy like me is not what they are for.
Do I bother going after them for 11 cents just for the principal of it, or just cut my losses and call it a day?
