2. As far as I know, and fingers crossed, I will be continue paying $20 per line using autopay.
You may just need to be on TNX, just T-Mobile sim but still on Sprint plan and billing and Sprint website log in.
To see the trade in offer.
- Log into your Sprint account
- Select the line you want to upgrade
- Select iPhone 13 series model you want
- Select trade in…..
No plan change required…if you don't see the offer than it's not for you.
I was being asked to move to T-Mobile from my current sprint plan when I called sprint customer service who transferred me to tele sales. 800-777-4681 (sprint tele sales), since customer service couldnt specify why I dont see the trade in option
"We're sorry but it looks like your new device won't work with your current plan. You will need to change your plan upon activation of this device."

Sprint account, sprint website login, sprint plan but T-Mobile SIM card
Don't you get a pop all the time asking you to upgrade to T-Mobile SIM card ?
TNX is T-Mobile's name for moving Sprint customers to T-Mobile SIM cards

With the upgrade option on each line.
Paying $44 for 3 lines on my kickstarter plan. 2 lines are $15 each after $5 discount for each line for auto pay and third line is free. Too bad I have the 30 month phone contract now, but at my plan price I can't complain.
I do wish it wasn't 30 months, but I keep it a year I feel I've have made out.
Had to upgrade to max magenta as well, which is a loss bummer. Oh well.
How to you guys protect these insurance wise? My wife and I will both have the 13 pro. Square trade? Applecare? Tmobile protection 360?
Went down the Sprint rabbit hole for the first time in a few years as I have happily owned an iPhone X since launch. Figured I'd post my findings and results here in case it helps anyone else…
I have an iPhone X and may be one of the few left on a "SERO 500" plan.
Upgrade offers weren't loading inside my account properly so I called the 888-876-8381 customer service number. Spoke to one rep who said I was eligible to upgrade and keep my plan with an $800 discount for trading in iPhone X.
She had to transfer me to someone in sales and the deal was called "tech up".
The person was able to process my swap and keep my SERO plan. Got an iphone 13 pro 256 for $10 per month for 30 months vs $36.66 per month for 30 months (I.E. $800 promo)
Pretty surprised it all worked and will likely do the same for my wife's phone tomorrow as she is on same SERO plan and also has iPhone X.
Going to get new phone activated on current plan and return old phone but came across SERO to SWAC conversion link I may also submit when this is all said and done.
SERO > SWAC link:

wanted to upgrade a iPhone 8 to iPhone 13 that is on SWAC, but already has a Monthly plan for a Galaxy S20 FE I had scored last year (on the same line as the iPhone 8).
Customer service said could not be done, because there already was a monthly payment plan active, had me talk to Sales to see if they could do anything.
Long story short, traded in my refurbished iphone 8 (got it from previous SD deal) for $600.
The Sales person insisted that she cannot take off the $15/month iphone protection plan, and that i will have to call and cancel after i receive the new iphone 13.
Should be no change in plan, but wont trust it until i have the phone on hand and can activate it with messing up my current plan(s).
Will see if I can do it also on my Free on us line, but will wait till i get my phone on Friday.
