The CPU is a 6 core TigerLake-H CPU, its no slouch and has plenty performance for gaming. Youll run into a GPU bottleneck with the 3050 ti in most games before you run into a CPU bottleneck. Its a pretty evenly spec'd laptop, and at 1080p basically every game will run fine.

Thanks so much for posting. My girl bought this for $1000 last week without asking for advice... BestBuy just refunded her the difference!

Hi. I'm looking for the cheapest 17.3 laptop with a dedicated video card. And this one seems to be the only one i could find at this price range. Can you please send the link of the laptop that you mentioned? Need to replace my old msi. Thanks. Ü

Passmark for the gpu is close to a 1650 super and that screen is a good size but I cant find any passmark score for the cpu.
Seems like a good deal. Anyone here have any experience with this?

Decent deal if you want this GPU... CPU should be good enough for it not to bottleneck... not for me though... I'm waiting on lenovo legion 5 pro to go on sale

Avoid, there are better laptops in this price range frequently, even 3060's for a similar price sometimes in the Lenovo IdeaPad gaming series.

Looks like they're trying to find an equally matched Processo/GPU, then watch the price slide down from there.

I jumped on this. I need a 17.3" laptop for work and all the good deals seem to be for 15" laptops. I also like to do a bit of gaming on the side, so this is perfect for my situation. My only reluctance is that black friday is around the corner. On the other hand, last year they didn't have many good deals for 17s. That along with my current laptop starting to fail I think this is a good deal. Thanks for posting!

Q: QuestionDoes this model have a second ssd slot?
Asked 1 month ago by BLizzle.

A:Answer To clarify it has a secondary m2 ssd slot. Also has additional slot for ram.

So easy to add more storage and RAM.

Not the best gaming laptop but workable.
The USB C is Thunderbolt 4 so you could add multiple monitors.

This isn't something I'm going to jump on. But anyone able to point me in the right direction for a laptop that I'll predominantly use for school, but want to be able to play most/any games on low/lowest settings (and less important but more of a luxury would be having hdmi out and Bluetooth input)

Not looking for something omg I need it now

But I figure now through black Friday is the time to start searching

Wait two more months for Black Friday this will be $599 and a bunch of same config 3060s will be $799-899.
False. Last year only laptops around that price were the Acer Nitro 5 and Lenovo Legion 5. Both with similar specs (Ryzen 5 4600H, GeForce 1650/1650Ti, and 256GB SSD)

EDIT: Forgot to add HP Pavilion Gaming 15 which was around 450 but I wouldn't recommend it
