New members who (1) purchase a qualifying device or bring their own, (2) transfer their existing phone number from an Eligible Carrier, (3) activate their Visible service, and (4) complete 3 full months' service payments, are eligible to receive up to a $200 virtual gift card…
For the HomePod Mini, condition (4) is not listed. So, you do not need to pay for 3 months to keep your HomePod Mini.
HomePod Mini retails for $99, but can be found much cheaper.
Costco has them at $95.
Best buy has them as open box (Excellent) at $88.
Staples has them new at $89, but you need to follow through google shopping link to get the price (try incognito mode).

long story short
1st order
activated visible line using esim and ported the number , porting completed , but unable to make/receive calls text , (iphone 11 pro max) , data works , Chat support hangs up and takes forever to connect , FB support did not help much , now left with service without calls / texts .
2nd order -placed a new order and ported number from redpocket>Ting>Visible , Got porting errors in account , CS suggested to get this order cancelled and return the device and start all over again ,
$200+ $50 homepod mini even if i do have to pay $55 for 3 months of service is still $200 less than paying for a full price unlocked phone from Apple.
I have AT&T but want the flexibility to use the phone for whatever carrier I want right out the box. But now they locked it it's gonna sit there for 60 days before it can be used.
oh well. there's always gotta be something in it for them, this eliminates the percentage of users who just use visible temporarily.
I know it was there when Visible first started having that list. And I follow most of the Visible threads, and don't remember anyone mentioning/warning others that Mint numbers don't qualify for port-in promos.
This morning I rec'd a confirmation from Visible that they requested the port-out again -- not that it was complete. So I called TF porting dept. and they confirmed they had the request, the info was correct, and immediately ported me out. Done. Whew! Never had such a PITA port-out. Not sure it was worth saving net $150, esp considering I now have to list the HomePod on eBay, hopefully sell it, then ship it.
So if you are having porting issues I would highly recommend calling the porting dept. on the port-out side. Visible is not going to try to expedite the process in anyway. You have to use self-help.
Once my # was transferred my Party, which I pre-requested, was activated immediately ( went with the "official" Reddit Party) and the discount was on my account. The code and link was also in my account for the HomePod and I was able to redeem that offer. So now it's just wait a couple months for the rebate and unlock.
Finally, just wanted to note that while I am in a major market with good 5G service my Visible phone will only give me LTE and bottom of the barrel at that. Speed test shows about 5Mbps up and down. That's compared to LTE Mint service (TMobile) on an iPhone 6s at the same location giving me 65Mbps up and 20 down. The ping on mint is a tad faster to 32 vs 46. My Mint service is $15 buck vs $25 for Visible, albeit Mint is not unlimited LTE, but I'm not a heavy data user. I can survive on 4GB a month easy.

You can get a good idea what the depreciation might be by going to the various carriers and sites that buy used phones. Take a look what a used 12 and 11 trade-in values are now vs MSPR when they were first released. Keep in mind that every carrier has different trade-in values based on their own business model. It's not necessarily cut and dry depreciation like a car. One thing that is fairly constant is that storage size rarely has much impact on used values. While a 256GB model may be $100 more than a 128GB model new, used it's maybe a $10 or 20 difference. So only buy the storage you need because that is a sunk cost for sure.

I picked up a 128GB 13 Pro though and I love it. Battery life is much better than my 12 Pro and the 120hz screen is great. Net cost was $100 + tax after trading in my 12 Pro, I figured I'd get that back or more at my next trade in or resale.

As much as I want the updated camera and high refresh display, figure I can wait one more year and get them with the 14 Pro. I only feel compelled to upgrade this year because I'm getting tired of using my iPhone SE2's small LCD screen
