Yeah, not exactly snappy. The processor has its weak points, but is the trade off at this low price for this extremely light little "take along" road warrior with an actual keyboard. The processor bogs down completely, for instance, in the extreme instance of "restore pages" when it is faced with opening the 8-10 tabs I had open. Keeping this in mind, try it out, as it is an actual steal at this price. I'm quite happy with mine, for what it is.
I wouldn't call it "snappy." I had one of these for a day before returning it. It was too slow even for basic web browsing.
🤷 ♂️ well it is my wife's. My time with it I was impressed for the cost. Opening multiple apps and changing between them there was no lag for me. Ymmv

FYI there is a new 13 inch model coming out next month. And it has a OLED screen! Will be more expensive $429 retail but I'm sure there will be some deals around BF

As in you have the m3 slate? Otherwise where are you finding one?

I feel like the slate was pretty buggy but this is otherwise a step down IMHO

It's still going to be underpowered with that snapdragon processor, and with that OLED screen the battery time is going to suck.

The detachable keyboard is a joke, each key gives different touch feeling, distance, and sound. You felt you typed some, you did not. You thought you have not typed anything, you did.

Please give a recommendation for something better in the $200 range. I'm looking for a deal for someone who needs something for the basics...web surfing, emailing, shopping, etc.
