Are you doing Gmail trick for account?
[email protected] [email protected] etc
Each time also?
Good question!
No, I have not done that. Interesting idea.

I personally have several emails (some gmail, some outlook) that I routinely use for various purposes (e.g. one used for family & friends, one for bank account correspondence, one for credit card correspondence, one for home utilities, one for volunteer and social work, one for vendors such as Amazon, etc.). About 8 in all.

I rotate through those for deals like these. I do understand that my scheme is not for everyone.

What carrier is Tello? How is CS?

I've never heard of Stack Social. Does the $20 credit have a expiration date?

Exactly. SIM is $10 though, so $100 really.

Is tello like any other GSM service? or is it VOIP service like freedompop or unreal mobile where I need to use their app to make and receive calls?

It's like any other GSM service. In fact, since Red Pocket purchased FreedomPop, and thereby Unreal, neither require that you use an app these days.

I placed the order, and its been like 3 hrs and I am still waiting for the redemption code.
2 days back I bought unreal mobile prepaid 3 months service, and i have to use the app to make or receive calls. I am not able to answer calls, but able to make calls. I am very frustated with Unreal mobile plan purchase.

I've heard of the redemption codes sometimes taking a bit, but your Unreal experience seems unreal - I didn't know they still had an app - you should contact customer service.

I bought the Unreal deal too and will be activating the SIM this weekend.

All of the mvno companies charge in excess of 33% of the total in fees, surcharges, recovery fees, and federal, county, and municipal communication fees. Is this a straight deal? As in money = service and NO surprise fees?
or is this one of those deals where they get your CC# and add the 35% in fees each month?
