Yes.

A workaround is to use Google Voice (GV) as your principle number and forward GV to the number you get with this deal. In 6 months, rinse and repeat.

Also - refer yourself the 2nd, and subsequent, times to get Tello Dollars (usually 10 Tello dollars each to referrer and referee) to extend the service you get a bit beyond 6 months.

If you do google voice. You would get a referral from someone. $5 for you $5 for the referral person. Each month get a new referral or refer yourself and start referring yourself to numerous accounts that you own for the $100 bring your own number deal as well as referring yourself. You'll actually have 2 or 3 lines yet get it all back and then a little more in their promo Mastercard rebates. So in essence you would actually be making a profit while having 3 lines open.

This coupon code no longer works.

Try coupon code 'DN30' instead. It gave me a 30% discount which brings the price down by an additional 10% to $34.30.

I've heard of the redemption codes sometimes taking a bit, but your Unreal experience seems unreal - I didn't know they still had an app - you should contact customer service.

I bought the Unreal deal too and will be activating the SIM this weekend.
i missed unreal deal, but bought one at ebay, they have two categories.. one standard and one premium.. premium dont need app.. and standard needs app.. already spent two hours with them.. its waste of time for me..

Since this is a Tello thread, they emailed me that my current Sprint phone won't work after the end of October. What are my options? I'd like to stick with android, maybe something like an LG v60 if I could. Which version should I get? AT&T? T-mobile? Global unlocked? Thanks in advance.
New Pixel 3 for the best sub $175. phone. The 3a or 4 Pixel is another excellent and affordable performer. Best android experience with zero bloatware. Dual speakers, killer camera, super high rez screen.

New 64GB at $164. BH and the same as mine:https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/pr...phone.html

All of the mvno companies charge in excess of 33% of the total in fees, surcharges, recovery fees, and federal, county, and municipal communication fees. Is this a straight deal? As in money = service and NO surprise fees?
or is this one of those deals where they get your CC# and add the 35% in fees each month?
I signed up last time. I didn't pay a penny extra. Just ported out to Boost 12 month deal few weeks back.

Junk, all I get is voicemails, no incoming calls or missed call notifications about ~80% of the time, have to restart my phone very often to make sure I get calls, very frustrating service.

I placed the order, and its been like 3 hrs and I am still waiting for the redemption code.
2 days back I bought unreal mobile prepaid 3 months service, and i have to use the app to make or receive calls. I am not able to answer calls, but able to make calls. I am very frustated with Unreal mobile plan purchase.
Unreal mobile never had any real customer service and has automatic reload. So if Unreal doesn't work for you now, remember to cancel auto renewal so you don't lose $120 like I did.

GV has saved me thousands over the years. There was a time I would port between cricket and metro monthly, picking up a free phone each time. I could also bay a $80 T-Mobile prepaid plan for $20 on eBay and use that too.

But Google voice uses data which is precious on a low tier plan like this...

There are a few cellphone service providers that incorporate taxes and fees into the plan price, like Visible and US Mobile's Ulimited plans.

As for Tello, I have a $5 voice and text only plan that I get charged approx $6.28 each month, so, yes, taxes are not included on their main plans. Perhaps Tello includes taxes in this "welcome" plan but once it expires my guess the renewal will collect the usual 30%+ gov't fee.
