didn't realize this was onsale again, it's a good price on these when they do this deal. they have their uses. i've used mine a lot for pattern tracing for my router, quick simple cuts, metal, starboard, other random stuff since getting rid of my bandsaw. (course you could also make a jigsaw table diy too). Not many left looks like.

it's good for several things you can't do with a jigsaw (without some effort) or a tablesaw. Very small parts and cuts, inside cuts, notches, router templates, quick simple cuts without setting up table/miter saw, pvc rips or cuts, aluminum, lots of things..i forget what all i've used it for came in more handy than original use (templates) It's loud but gets the job done. their returbs are good, i've bought several worx/rockwell items (same company) off their ebay site, always arrive looking new. If you have a problem they promptly handle it too btw.

I used it for engineered hardwood flooring to do all the small cutouts. I'm using this set of Bosch jigsaw blades on it and it's doing a great job. Very precise cuts, almost like a scroll saw.
