Best Buy keeps putting this pot on sale for $25 every 3~4 weeks since May. In between, Best Buy will lower the 8-qt model to $35~$40 (it was even at $20 once in June). The 6-qt model was on the 2020 BF list for $30. These are very good price since this is basically identical to Instant Pot.

This is a great deal. I have it but have not used it yet. I use a Gourmia unit I bought from Best Buy. The Gourmia works great but is impossible (from what I've seen} to find a replacement sealing ring. The Gourmia ring has an inner diameter of 21 cm and no one carries that size. The Insignia unit has an inner diameter of 22 cm which everyone carries. Thus, you can order one over Ebay directly out of China cheaply.

I've read decent reviews on this one. The instapot we have has a stainless steel pot. Looks like this one has some sort of non-stick coating.

Wow, shipping is fast. Real fast!!!! I placed the order online at 11:30 this morning. I've just found the cooker at my door. I checked my phone, I had a message saying the cooker was delivered at 1:06. Wait, this is free shipping.

Free same day shipping is outstanding.

Anyone have some good recipes to go with this thing?

Try Amazon. I've picked up various cookbooks free on their site. The choice seems to regularly change.

I got this a few years ago. No complaints. The newer models also have sous vide and an air fryer, which it worth the higher price imo.

I would recommend this if you are not sure about pressure cookers and want to try it out. I had this model for a couple years before eventually upgrading to a dual air fryer and pressure cooker model. I had good experience and cooked many good meals on it.

Instant Pot has a better release valve, stainless steel pot and a few more pressure controls. It's also considerably more expensive. If you use it alot it may be worth it to spend more money on one.

I know I will get downvoted for this and don't care, I will die on this stupid hill.

It's Instant Pot, people! Not Instapot.
