Solid deal. How low do y'all think it'll go for Black Friday?

I don't really know the differences in this TV and the U8G, but I have the U8G and love it.

oops, op already stating amazon is matching...

This is the equivalent model to the H8G from 2020 apparently.

U8G is a decent amount better and 120 bucks more on amazon.

Also, be aware neither of them can do 4k120 4:4:4 without blurring

Not sure but I set up a price alert at 950. Lower cost TV generally don't drop much on BF.

I heard the ghosting was fixed in the newer 65" version. Also I'm pretty tech savvy, but whats 4:4:4?

Roger that, I might do the same. Been wanting to upgrade for a while but don't want to spend over $1k, and it doesn't seem like OLEDs are gonna drop below that anytime soon.

I just got the 65" U6G for $700 + tax a few days ago. Worth returning and buying this one instead for +$300?

Depends on if you got a good screen and are happy with it overall for your use.

No issues so far. Everything looks great but wondering if that 120hz refresh rate would look better for media consumption. No console gaming for me, but may get a Nintendo Switch down the line for the TV. AFAIK, the Switch only supports 60hz so the extra hz won't help with that either.

Probably gona keep the U6G for convenience

Makes sense if you have a nice clean panel. I would keep it too.
