They aren't for "worldwide travel" like the Anker (that accepts 110-240v), fwiw. That was important to me but probably not to others.

The Amazon Commercial model features a heavy duty 14 AWG, 6' cord, features basic surge protection, and is UL listed. This Anker product has a thinner 18 AWG cord, no surge protection, and a UL listing for a specification (817) [certipedia.com] which isn't necessarily appropriate to this kind of product.
Good luck!

If you're looking for something less garish(?) I'd point you to the more traditional power strip shape. Those are more plentiful, especially from traditional power strip brands and OEMs.
Good luck!

Still if the bigger size doesn't bother you the Amazon one isn't a bad deal. It also benefits from a 6' cord vs 5' on the Anker.

Note that the most important distinction in the power cord between the Anker and Amazon Commercial device shouldn't be the marginal difference in length, but rather the significant difference in the gauge of wiring. The Anker 18 AWG extension cord is basically your grandma's lamp cord wrapped in proper extension cord clothing (insulation). Even a minimal $1 lamp extension cord at Home Depot [homedepot.com] employs 16 AWG wire. The Amazon Commercial device steps that up to 14 AWG wire. This is particularly valuable in a home environment as it means the Amazon Commercial device is rated to the same 15A load that would match the rating for many residential receptacles and/or breakers to which it would be connected.
Good luck!

I'm happy that Slickdeals has survived since there are still some great deals out there... it's just definitely becoming a lot harder to love and recommend the site. I recall when FatWallet was a site for the hardcore, and Slickdeals was the easy to use deals site. Monetizing Slickdeals has ensured that they continue to have a life on the internet, but it has also made the general frontpage, previously a useful feature relative to other sites, something to be avoided.
Good luck!
Jon
