Also recent reviews say that it's internal components melted, potentially resulting in a fire hazard.

Considering the return policy also, this is not a very good deal comparing to that. However, I have two of this model and they work well. This model is perhaps one of the most popular ones that have been around for many years. The overall review is pretty good.
