Standard warranty is not worth saving $200
They got allstate warranty for $105.

Tempting, but I think Costco deal is better.

I've had 20 tvs in my day. Not one has required warranty service. Warranty on electronics is for phools.

Great timing (Oct 1). Repped.

However, if you have the Target Red Card, just use that unlimited 5%. And save the Disco $75 limit for other Target, Walmart, Amazon Christmas purchases.

This could be a great deal, IF Target doesn't cancel your order for using an invalid coupon.

After the 10% Target Circle and 5% Red Card discount ($261), the total before tax comes to $1539 - that's a saving of $189 on the Costco price of $1728 (after using Costco Visa 4% Executive discount).

I don't see enough value in the Allstate warranty to make up for the price difference, especially given their poor customer service. The $100 Streaming Service card is NOT cash, and can't be sold for anything near face value. You get 6 months free HBO Max with the Target purchase anyway.

Target is not a fly-by-night eBay store. You can be sure LG will stand behind their warranty on a Target purchase. Red Card holders also get the same 90-day return policy that Costco offers.

Overall, Target offers a much better 'out-the-door' price than Costco, IF the coupon savings work.

If I want a 55" OLED TV, should I get the A1 from Costco or the C1 from Target? The $100 streaming credit from Costco is valuable to me.

Not worth upgrading but would choose a c1 if within $100 of the cx price.

If you play games then C1 is the one you want.
