This is a griddle, not a stove or a grill.

Once you go blackstone there is no going back. Very fun to cook on.

They also have a big FULL size 4 burner one with Hard cover you can lock down.. waiting on that one to clearance.

Have a 5 year old kenmore grille and after 2 years the whole bottom rusted off it.. getting sick of messing with the 2 cookie sheets I made a new bottom out of.

I like the griddle idea I'm usually either cooking for 2, 4 or 20 depending on the weekend.
Ya, don't you love how you can't buy the replacement part, or it's insanely expensive if you can find it?? Same issue on my Dyna-glo grill. I did find the part from a third-party manufacturer, but it was going to cost me $100, with shipping, just to get it. Fark them. Went to Lowes, bought a 18-gauge plate and cut it to size. I scrape the grill leavings after I''m done. The leavings never fall into that worthless cup anyways.

Not sure if if grill manufacturers get this or not, but animal fat isn't water, so you can pitch the pan all you want but it isn't moving once it falls down there..except if it is falling directly over it. Also convinced that it greatly contributes to the corrosive effect. Just clean mine after each use now, and have no issues.

My brother snagged this for me for $50 from Target a few years back and I love it. Used it for camping. Just make sure you season it first.

This has a vinyl cover but no hood? For $36 more, I'd pick up the one with the hood at Home Depot.

This griddle is a big hit on our camping trips, breakfasts, smash burgers, stir fry, quesadillas, all kinds of stuff. Always turns out great. Steaks I'm not sure if I like this better or my Weber. Blackstone makes an awesome crust though when you sear the steak properly. Great price which I have seen before at Sams, but I thought the better deal for me was the Adventure model with hood and stand at Walmart.

As someone mentioned season it well with oil first, I did it 4x when I brought home. After cooking clean it well and coat the surface again lightly with oil to protect it.

Homedepot model is a single burner and 17", this model is 22" dual burner. But I do agree, I need that hood.

Also want to know if the griddle is removable and also what size the actual griddle is?

I have two takoyaki griddles I'd like to use on it.

Can the pan be removed to clean it? Or how do you clean it?
I am going to guess yes.

I keep thinking about buying this one every time I go.

One of my local WalMarts had a blackstone on clearance recently when I was in there. Probably should have bought it. It was like 30% off on the 4 burner griddle.

Yes. You just buy a hose adapter like any other type of camping stove/grill.

On Sep 13, i paid $66.52 out the door with 50% off and 5% redcard discount at Target. It is the same but in a 17" size. I highly recommend this griddle as i used it for camping and it was perfect. You can always buy the propane tank adapter to use the big propane tanks and i found many of them recently for about $5 on clearance at Walmart. This is a great deal for the 22" one but i am doing fine with the 17" as it is just a little more space saving but has plenty of cooking space. You should not hesitate to buy this if you can.
