I did this online a few nights ago. Still no sign of my 10k signup points, nor my first $5 cert to use for this month. Recently I bought a game called Lost Judgment which came with a $10 reward, I had to contact support just to get that issued to me as well once many days had gone by and it was never rewarded as it should have been. I figured this membership would quickly pay for itself and it's the only gaming rewards around these days since GCU ended, but it's clear much of GameStop as a business is a mess right now. There was a game on sale that I wanted, and I figured I'd get these 10k points and $5 monthly reward right away and I'd buy the game. Now I'm willing to bet by the time they get my points straightened out, the sale price on the game will expire and I won't be able to get what I wanted.

As others have also mentioned, the $5 monthly rewards can't stack because they expire, and they also cannot be used to preorder something, they have to be used on something currently in stock. Which is a negative to me, easiest way to make sure the rewards don't get wasted in a month where I might not want anything is to just preorder something that I know I want in the future. I hear PSN cards don't come in anything less than $10, so if you're mainly a PlayStation gamer you can't just get your monthly $5 in PSN credit either unless you add cash to it.

Small print terms about the PowerUp Pro says you can request to cancel/refund your membership within 7 days. I may do that as I am disappointed already. (Oh, also the previous game I bought online had a release date of Friday Sep 24th and I received it Weds the 29th. For a business that caters to gamers, they should know it's not fun to be 5 days behind everyone else who starts playing a game on release day. The package didn't even start moving until Monday after release.)

So I'll be wasting my Monday morning getting on their live chat that is only available on weekdays to ask where all these rewards are. If that doesn't get sorted immediately, I'll be inquiring about the terms of refunding my membership, and if they mess around with that, I'll contact my credit card about the $15 charge I used to join. I recently got a PS5 and figured I'll be buying more physical games because of that and that this would be worth doing, but I'm already frustrated with GS service.

This is what I do every month.
It tends to not let me use the credit on nintendo e-cards most of the time, sometimes yes, but I do it in-store every month without issue applied to the $10 e-card.

I'll keep you updated if I remember haha thanks!
Called customer service and they acknowledged the issue right away. Added the 10k manually, said it would post within 24 hours but it was there within the hour. Definitely worth a phone call for anyone stuck.

Yes this is a regular price deal, not slick but a good value if you collect the $5 monthly credits. Buy a $10 PSN card monthly for $5.
Oh so now it's a good value when a day ago you posted it wasn't and that I was a GameStop shill.

And the 10K bonus is not always offered.

The 10k points is regular now. It replaced the $5 welcome coupon on 10/1.

I signed up yesterday for the first time - can anyone tell me when the monthly certificates are issued? Do they come in the form of 5k points that expire at the end of the month? TIA

Can the $5 XBOX card be claimed only in store? Or can I do this online as well?

So let me get this straight. Pay $15 up front, get 10k points (worth $10), and then receive $5/month coupons ($70 total)…

This is a slick deal. Total net money maker of $65, not even including any bonus points you'd get on purchases. And the magazine sounds cool too. Going to sign up at my local GameStop today.

I signed up for this several months ago and am unable to redeem my rewards. It never sends the verification email even though it matches my email and the rest of Gamestop.com works with my email (just a Gmail address). I contacted their customer support and they told me (after waiting just over 1 month for a reply) they couldn't fix it, and that I would have to visit a physical Gamestop store to get it fixed. I probably won't be doing that any time soon, so this was a complete waste of money for me. Better off directly spending $15 on a game.

Used my certs towards a Steam Wallet eCard that gave you a code on your receipt to redeem on Steam website. I only knew of Nintendo eCards. The lowest value you can purchase is $20.

So you can use the points to get a physical XBOX card, that you can then reload, or keep adding to the balance monthly?

Just called them, and was told this won't stack if your renewal is coming up soon. What a bummer! Mine is coming up on 12/23.

Trash. Being a member for like ever. Since it started. U can't even use ur points on anything. All u can get at least for me is in store coupon $50 and u cannot even stack $50

Whole system makes no sense.
You don't have the $5/10/25 coupons? And they stack as long as you have different amounts.
