As mentioned on the previous deal - if you want touch, 360, small form factor PC to game on the go - GET IT!
Been driving it for the past couple of months - AMAZING! Got the 3080ti extension 2 weeks ago, HOLLY FCK is it awesome! Big Grin

Seriously, if you want to game while travelling and with a thin and light - there's nothing better out there.

I have the 3050ti version - 11/10 would buy again!

What's your experience with battery life? How long would it last from a full charge? Thanks!

Just regular use like browsing the web or emailing, I get 7h easy. Never needed more. I've played some Black Mesa and some Android emu games and still had juice after 4h. I did 4h of zoom calls and the battery was still at 60 sth. Didn't do a thorough battery life test yet.

I think he talks about the external GPU you can purchase. Here's more from Asus website.

I don't think they make a 3080ti external GPU for this unit, but the 3080 they do sell as a proprietary add-on does seem legit and sleek.

My only complaint about my personal experience with this laptop (without the eGPU) is that my flow x13 heated up too quickly compared to similarly classed Notebooks. I know there are settings you can change and Fan Curves etc, but maybe I was just unlucky.

I quickly went back to get the G14, which was the same price at the time. Temps were better, longer battery life, and 25 better percent GPU (if you don't count the 3080 add-on).

That said, I see why some people prefer this to the G14.

you are mostly preaching to the choir EXCEPT for the 300 nits screen— that seems a little weak. I am guessing that is to save battery life but if you want to save battery that way then you just need to adjust the screen brightness manually

I'm planning on using this laptop for video editing and rendering. It seems that the RAM is soldered on and there is no way to upgrade. Is 16gb a deal breaker for video editing or does the processor make up for that shortcoming?

I know these are two different speced computers … but how would 3050ti compared to say MSI 3060 Costco computer. In general would you go for 3060 or 3050ti? Thanks a lot.
