Gloomhaven is #1 ranked board game on BGG all time and deserving of it:

If you get Gloomhaven Id' also invest in the reusable stickers so you can make the game replayable.


If you are new to Gloomhaven I would consider getting the Jaws of the Lion version first. JOTL is like a prequel version for Gloomhaven as far as the story line but its standalone. It uses the same rules but is shorter. JOTL has a better learning tutorial to get you into the game plus its a lot cheaper.

Great game! Great price! As mentioned, complex rules that take some time to learn and the whole game takes quite a long time (each scenario can take 1-2 hours), but very fun. Anyone on the fence could consider Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion as a smaller, less expensive intro game.

My wife and I have been playing Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion and loving it. Will probably pick up this full game for when we eventually finish JotL, which could still take a while

Got this and a $60 netflix card for 145 bucks before promo so i hit the max discount (almost) What a deal!!
