$135 is nothing for something that's game-changing. Keyboard and mouse easily passes that for gaming level gear.

FYI, it's generally accepted the best place to buy this controller is from Best Buy so you can add the Geek Squad replacement plan. Whenever the controller breaks or messes up for whatever reason for the 2 years, you can just take it in and they will replace it for you. Saves the anxiety of wondering whether your ~$200 controller will crap out and become a paper weight not too long after you get it.

How so? This is among the cheapest this controller has ever been, before or after Covid.

Why the thumbs down? Are people really against the new Elite controllers or is the quality really that bad?

i have the elite 1 and this is easily a great deal. considering buying the elite 2 at this price. I can get ps5's but can't get a series x for some reason.

The only complaint I'm aware of is the fact that it has a built-in rechargeable battery now instead of the original Elite letting use whatever type of AA batteries.

My series 2 controller had drifting issues within the first few months.. I didn't really try to troubleshoot the issue though. Was happy enough to accept a $120 trade-in gc at Gamestop the other day.

This controller is game-changing. Literally, it will change the ways you play some games. You'll never have to reach for a button again. You can map the underside paddles to up to 6 button presses meaning you don't have to do the awkward push on the control stick to run anymore. This is in addition to changing things like trigger sensitivity and joystick response ranges. Build quality makes all other controllers feel like cheap plastic. Mine has been worth every penny

Hmmm... I picked up one with this deal and the D-pad had sticky inputs. Very disappointing as I was hoping those negative reviews were overblown.

You have displayed you are a massive fool, so what are you parting with your money on instead of a great controller?
