I have yet to find a Feit device that is reliable. Almost every type of item I've bought from this manufacturer has failed; not necessarily every single one, but enough of them that I wouldn't really trust the brand. Instead, do yourself a favor and spend $3 more per plug for a Kasa [amazon.com].

I agree. I bought some warm LED light bulbs from Costco. I had 6 of these light bulbs at my bedroom. The glass part of one of the bulbs fell down on the floor. The same thing happened again in couple of days. After these incidents, I would never buy this brand light bulb again.

Or, buy one of what appears to be the same for $15.98 from Amazon. [amazon.com]

Edit (or cheaper from other sellers).

I have 10 of their bulbs and 2 outdoor plugs and haven't had any issues. They will randomly lose connection and if you turn them on and off again (from like a switch) they work again fine.

I'm happy with them for the price.

$29.99 - $10.00 = $19.99 in store. Have a set of indoor and outdoor timer and switches with no issues so far.

I'm not sure if anyone on this forum uses Homebridge.io to connect these to Apple Homekit, but I could never get this to work via Tuya Web. Has anyone been successful with using this with Homekit?

Had some of their light bulbs. They don't last long. A few years at best. If they don't put much of an effort in for QC for their bulbs, I don't expect outdoor Wi-Fi plugs to be much better.

to confirm, 2-pack here means that there are 2x 2plugs i.e. $10 per dual plug?

Then I must have missed something... Perhaps you have to take a chance on actually going into store as title says and not buy online to pick up in store.

Online shows original price to be $39.99 and then a $10 discount with the option of free delivery that is comparable to Amazon. No big deal, as Feit does not do all that well for me if left outside in wet weather for extended periods. I do better with keeping unit out of the weather and using extension cord from unit.

Bad thing with these is every time you buy a WiFi controlled device you have to download their app! My phone is full of apps to control different things?!?! Can't they make a universal app?!??
It's getting as bad as in the 80's when you have 10 remotes to just turn on the TV?!?!

can't speak for the product in this thread specifically but I've found that the basic functions of most devices can be controlled from the google home app once the device is added to there. It does take a few additional steps to get it all setup though e.g. adding it to a room

Worst case scenario, having multiple applications on your cell phone beats having a bunch of physical remotes lying around?
