Weirdest procedure for gift cards I've done but can confirm it works for at least 3 $50 cards. You buy the three from Kroger, who send you an email. Then you click on the link and follow to another website where you "buy" the $55 card using the gift card you bought. I had to do it 3 times separately, not sure if you can redeem all 3 at once.
I wonder if this would work with more than one order.
