I'd pull the trigger on this kit. You could potentially price match with HD and then get the 11% rebate to sweeten the deal, if they offer it in your area.

This is about as good as this kit has been for a couple of years. They did run a sale that you could also get two 5amp batteries and charger for another $100 that is not a bad price if you need them. And like mmbmca said, maybe you could add a filler and buy a 20 off 100 coupon for a couple bucks to sweeten this deal.
We have a few of these and also the brushless Atomic that is single speed, but thinner that I like just as well. Both have variable speed triggers and if you don't use the 3 speed switch on the XR, it will sometimes get stuck from drywall dust that you need to blow out. Personally, I just leave the switch on high that is 20,000 and the Atomic is 18,000.
Today, this XR is the deal for battery. Personally, for intermittent usage, I would consider a corded Rockwell that will still be working 20 years from now when today's batteries are long gone.
But the accessories are blahh.
I'm not sure it's a 2ah battery, or lower, but accomplishes very little.
The charger is the 107, which I didn't even think was manufactured anymore.
The blades are OK.
All in all, I buy these without the kit a few times a year around $65 to $75 without battery. I'm glad I got extras, because Dewalt is "upgrading" them next year. And if you are a Dewalt follower, you've suffered enough, and know that when Dewalt upgrades, it's only good for their revenue, not for the tool.
