This one is 66" radius, 11 ft dia. In addition they recommended a 6 ft radius safety zone. Can anyone that has it comment on the necessity for a safety zone that big? Do you think it is required?

I can imagine kids jumping / falling off and hurting themselves if there is not 6 feet of outside clearance.

We will have about 2-3 ft clearance on 2 sides , before the vinyl fence. About 6-7 ft clearance on the other 2 sides and pavers after that. I think that should be fine?

Almost all of these do but I think you can spray rust inhibitor paint whenever you notice rust.

6 feet would be ideal, but should be fine.

These are good until they rust. Ours rusted at all of the connection points and was no longer safe to use.

Since you asked, 2 ft seems kind of slim. Definitely could smash against a fence that close upon dismount, but it's obviously your call.

I've never seen our kids fly off the outside of this - they always drop to the inside. With that said ours is wide open all around.
