Pulled the trigger, but there are so many complaints online about how uncomfortable these can be (if you have a big head) that I think it's a good idea to buy from BB for an easy return if needed.

If you use glasses, wearing airpods max is very uncomfortable. Quality is really good. It is worth if you are in apple eco system. I returned mine.

I bought these for 500 about 2 months ago, and it is expensive for what it is. But it's not uncomfortable imo.

Big headed 6'2" guy here, no issues bought second pair for wife. Ordered open box with 2 year AppleCare for $445 at checkout

The store employees said they marked them as fair to get them out the door as quickly as possible because they didn't have space for them on the floor. They sound great (better than the XM3 and QC35 imo), but the way you need to put them in the afterthought case to sleep, no support for wired lossless, finicky NC button, and the cups clacking together when you fold them flat are just too annoying.

Compared these to my QC35 and just couldn't live with all the downsides and discomfort these come with. I didn't have issue with price, but these come with stupid design and case to ignore. At this price I better enjoy wearing one without being annoyed, which these unfortunately aren't.

Went with the grey open box paying a little more if I like them I'd rather have the color I like not the cheapest with a color I don't like

I had to return it because it is much heavier than my Sony MX3 and MX4.
