Probably cause soy sauce is so similar and she is just substituting it for anything else. Lol but this is the best brand out there for sure.

Makes good beef jerky marinade. I paid almost $20 for my jug. $11 is a steal. The small bottles are like $4-5 for only what like 16oz.
