Your right the lowest this one dropped was like 160 175 range open box Best Buy with the lower one scuff type I got one for 165 had marks on the cover the 199 price not bad. The 149 was for the 11 inch magic keyboard not this 12.9"

I have this. Not as sleek and or laptop like but the pros faaaar outweigh the cons. If you want to use a case that's compatible with the magic keyboard that's another $40.

Look up switcheasy cover buddy but I picked up the i-blason halo instead. Not as thin or easy to remove but almost a third of the cost.

I hope this comes around again! Just got my 12.9 4th gen and would lofe to give the Magic Keyboard a try but at full price that aint gonna happen!
