I have two of these devices and I absolutely love Android TV and this device is a great value but yes, it locks up on me all the time. I'm constantly having to unplug it and plug it back in order to get it working again.

This is the best value android tv 4k box out there. It has a stock android tv launcher and can even flash LineageOS on it.

I picked one up and was pleasantly surprised. Isn't quite as good as my $200 Shield, but definitely like it more than my $50 Fire Stick. It's very snappy and responsive, and stock Android TV is a very enjoyable experience.

I have the dynalink version of this and it's been rock solid for me, tho I can only speak to 1080p use.

The GTV has better PQ, its Hardware scalers and deinterlacing is active and enabled if you use it for OTA or MPEG2 , 480p upscaling ... but this one is better than the Tivo Stream 4K

Already have a Chromecast with Google tv but thinking of getting this so me and my wife can have separate devices with our own logins although I saw a news few days ago that Google finally going to add the profile/who's watching feature for Chromecast with Google tv
