I have two of these devices and I absolutely love Android TV and this device is a great value but yes, it locks up on me all the time. I'm constantly having to unplug it and plug it back in order to get it working again.

No, just reading through the thread and replying to everyone that said it was freezing. It's an awesome device and I hate for others to think that it's still a problem and sleep on the deal because of people that ran outdated firmware.

Picked this up today. Works really well. I previously had a 2nd gen firetv stick and seems to be smoother. However the color doesn't look quite right. Like the white is too white on my 4k tv but my 1080p tv it looks fine.

I just got this today and I just bought three more. It works so well. Just like my google chrome with tv or whatever you call it.

I initially had issues connecting to my wpa2 network, but just had to create an open guest network real quick to let it update. The update allows it to get on a wpa2 network.

After sometime the display flickers. Found out it was the Android box's display settings. I changed my to 1080p. All my videos were still in 4K hdr not sure why that helped. I tried all other 4K settings and 1080p is what worked. Try it . This thing isn't too bad.
