So I have two of these and while they are great for the most part, there are a few issues and I'm thinking about switching back to firesticks.

1 - I have a 50/50 chance the audio works when I switch between apps such as Netflix and HD Homerun Prime. The only way I've been able to resolve is stop the app or reboot the device.

2 - I have the remote for this device control my AV receiver and TV along with itself. At random times, everything shutdowns as if I hit the power button on the remote. There seems to be no ryme or reason why.

Hard to beat the price but a lot of competition. Xiaomi has unveiled its new Xiaomi TV Stick 4K. While there hasn't been a official announcement, the product can already be found on their website. https://thestreamable.com/news/xi...upports-4k
Is this being sold anywhere yet?

not quite yet, a little overdue. Xiaomi's TV Stick 4K launched in Spain, France, Italy, and Germany on January 21, 2022. Xiaomi hasn't provided a release date for the US or UK so far, but we typically see its streaming devices hit both markets. We will add further pricing and availability information when we know more. https://www.androidauthority.com/...w-3086999/ Better than the Mi but might be overpriced MSRP $68ish.

I picked up one of these months ago. It used to have that freeze issue, it was fixed in updates. I do not notice many issues with it at all. I did get the random free 6 month trial to peacock tho. I bought one of these for my kids room, because its such a good value imo.

Thanks for the info!

They should really increase the storage on these devices from typical 8GB to at least 16GB or even 32GB

My device's Bluetooth is having issues. I can connect to it but the sound breaks up. I tried different Bluetooth units (speakers and headset). I tried resetting the unit and the issue still remains. Are others having issues as well?

Anyone know if this can handle 4k streaming video on VLC? Fire stick 4k max seems to have stuttering issues with them
