For those who are looking to get into anything editing this bundle cant be beat. Paintshop pro 2021 is a very popular alternative to Adobe Photoshop. Not only does it come with PaintShop Pro but all the other video/photo editing software too and tons of effects. Really surprised this wasn't posted already, I know its 2021 and there is a 2022 release already out, but if you like 2021 you can upgrade to 2022 in the future at a discounted price.

I have bought the Elements packages during Black Friday deals over the years but never really used them. They seem to take quite a bit of drive space for what they are, but I would imagine that if you were trying to follow full-blown Photoshop tutorials and techniques, then it would be worthwhile. If you just need photo editing software now and then and are willing to poke around a little to figure it out, that's where having Paintshop Pro in your back pocket is handy. Affinity Photo (rebranded Serif product) is another example and they frequently have $25 sales. There are also photo effect software from On1 and Skylum if you are less interested in pushing the pixels and more interested in applying look and feel recipes, etc. These effect modules often integrate into Photoshop and Elements, so if you want to integrate the two technologies, then that's another plus for Adobe.
There are not too many alternatives to Painter. It really is amazing as a digital art canvas, especially for < $30. Every now and again, Humble Bundle will have Rebelle from Escape Motions which is similar, but seems to stress how the digital art and paper work together. Again, for the price of these bundles, it's worth it to have around if you need it.
As for the video editing - I haven't used VSP for a long time. However, I was considering learning DaVinci Resolve.
I know that trials exist, but I generally cannot set aside time in a 30 day window to really get into a product. But I will throw some money at a perpetual copy just to have around if the price is right.
I'm not sure about Video Studio - wasn't impressed in the past, and I've been pretty happy with the free version of Davinci Resolve, which is actually quite powerful and has great performance.
Aftershot Pro 3 is from 2016, and I found very lacking. They've basically abandoned this software and just hand it out like candy. It's kind of embarrassing for Corel - either put some development into it or cancel the product, already.
PSP feels horribly outdated to me (screams of Windows 3.1 still), is not intuitive, and incredibly slow. For what it does, I'm happier to use GIMP, which is free.

As for VSP I dont use it either, but they supposedly updated all the software to take advantage of the latest processor and gpus so it should accelerate editing time, and even a little increase is better than none cause it takes forever to edit video.
