I've got mine on right now thanks Slickdeals lol... 10-15 years late to the Crocs party but they're great house shoes. Don't think I'd go out in public with them though, kind of an odd shape.

I have this and I've worn this everywhere everyday including parties for the last 7 years and it's still going strong. This thing just refuses to break.

My $.02 is that this type of croc is uncomfortable compared to their regular clogs. Also wearing them makes your feet hot and sweat which is annoying. I bought them b/c these go on sale quite frequently, but if new to crocs I would recommend other type, would return these types if I could.

You don't have to remove the strap. Look at the picture of the white pair. You just put the strap up and slide them on if you don't want to use the strap.
Thanks

Functionally, these shoes are perfect. Stylistically... that's a matter of opinion. Kids think Crocs are cool again so there's that going for you.

Compared to standard Crocs, no holes on top = less perception of being a virgin. No holes on the bottom means you can walk through puddles without issue.

The heel comes up higher than standard crocs, so I never have to use the strap. I actually cut them off for a minimalist look.

People say no holes on the bottom make your feet hotter. It's true vs standard Crocs, but I've worn them for a year in Texas weather and it hasn't really been a problem.

I agree. Ones with breathing holes are much better.

I agree, I have the black version of these for gardening/yard work and they keep on giving me blisters and are generally uncomfortable. The first blister I had was due to the strap so that was the first thing I got rid of. I found that I could mold it to my feet better with my heat gun in the garage, which helped improve the comfort. The next thing I am going to try is to drill holes to see if that helps.

how do these compare to dansko for being on my feet all day?
If Dansko fits your budget and you are used to the elevation that they provide, I would say they're the better choice from experience. I have used several different versions of the non-slip crocs, Birki's/Super Birki's and Danskos; Danskos are the best, followed closely by Birki's a d then Crocs--but it all depends on the budget available at the time. The lifespan of Crocs and Birkis are roughly the same with every day use on quarry grip tile.

CAT has introduced a few lines of non-slip footwear as well that are worth checking out, I tried some of them out before their product launch and they were pretty solid with a great "stock"/"oem" insole.

At this price, though? If you find them comfortable enough, you can buy several pairs now for the price of one pair of Dansko shoes and be set for a few years.

Note: these aren't non-slip, was just commenting on the non-slip lines because you mentioned the Danskos, which are usually non-slip (and used often by medical/kitchen personnel).

Anyone know if these are good for wide feet?
Yep, that's the primary reason for me buying another pair, these giant feet are hard to cram into a lot of different sneakers/casual wear, but these (and other Crocs) work great.

It's a Croc without holes. It's comfy for me since I live in a temperate climate. You're probably right though that this might not work in hot places.

Going to get a pair and wear them with socks on my next trip to Germany. I should fit right in.

I love these, grabbed them for $10 a while back. I only wear them with socks around the house/neighborhood though, was wearing them barefoot and it tore the skin off the top of my foot where it makes the highest contact, presumably because it's a tougher material, but YMMV on that. These are great though, easy on, no meat juices hitting my feet when pulling stuff out of the smoker, or sawdust between the toes. Since they're white, they take on a personality of their own over time

You're still not ready to let go. It's like that scene in Batman Dark Knight Rises when Bruce had to get out of the pit. Just get out there with your Crocs and socks. Life will be so much clearer after.
