Not sure anyone in the last thread ever found an employee that knew how to bring up the QR code for them to scan... I was going to wait until near the end, so hopefully by then, at least someone will know how to do it. Some of the fast food places here still don't seem to know how their own mobile app orders work.

Not sure what the last thread was about but in this deal you bring up the QR code on your PayPal app to pay with when paying in-store. All the employee has to do is scan the QR with their reader.

Might give this a try this weekend.

I did it on PayPal and got the credit right away a couple weeks back. I just did it on Venmo yesterday and have not gotten the credit yet. However someone mentioned it takes longer to get the credit on Venmo. I'll update.

I followed the steps exactly but still haven't seen the $10 credit from PayPal how long does it take I bought the food a week ago.

i got the credit a minute after processing the payment. someone i was with did the same and he got his just as fast.

why the hostility? he's correct. these worker abroad work for a third party. their english is not the best, they are not trained well, always place you on hold (because they are handling 3 calls at once), give you scripted nonsense as a response and usually never resolve a thing. it's infuriating. better to deal with companies that don't outsource their support abroad.

Where does the $10 credit actually go? I charged 10.67 at Panda and immediately got a notification that I received $10 cash back, but my paypal account balance is zero and the credit card linked to paypal shows a 10.67 charge.

Took 4 days for me to get the Venmo credit.

I tried PayPal to buy a $10 GC, but there was a problem with the QR transaction going through last week. Not sure if it was because my PayPal account was new. I just walked away telling cashier that I'd try a different time. I'll try a different Panda when I am near one to see if my PayPal QR is working.
