12% Ca$h B@ck is available, bringing price to $238!
Next best price is over $400.
If ergonomics and eye health are important to you, this is a deal on a monitor that delivers the goods.
VESA Mountable = YES. USB ports = YES.
Acer site has very little info, ironically, but here's a link to B&H for full specs:

I don't know. Is that even a thing? Cool! Anyway, I doubt this monitor can do because it only has one input. The similar ASUS Tuf gaming monitor (same net price) that was posted today, may have multiple inputs. It's a good deal too IMO but has a TN screen and poorer color reproduction compared to this one which is IPS and 100%sRGB.

This isn't a typical user monitor
Designed for photographers, web designers, and other graphics professionals, the Acer BE270U ($499.99) is a 27-inch In-Plane Switching (IPS) monitor that supports daisy-chaining, and uses a bezel-free cabinet to provide an almost-seamless viewing experience w

So I order the viewsonic one for 200. Bought 2 of them for office setup. My question is. Would these be better for a work setup? Here is link to the other deal.

What does flicker free mean? I thought high fps monitors have less flicker?

For me, the advantage of this over the viewsonic, is mostly the highly adjustable stand. Those Viewsonics were an awesome deal at $200, so you're good. If you need to adjust (I like to pivot monitors to vertical orientation to work with long documents), you can get an adjustable VESA arm mount, or a double, attach to the back of your desk, and save desk space. I've got two AOC 27" 1440p monitors set up this way at my desk, but a VESA arm mount won't work on my wife's desk, so I've been looking for the ergo stand. She does some photo work, so color accuracy is more important to her than to me. That's why I was happy to find the Acer deal. Can't mention the CB (12%) site that in this forum, but it's a site I use and trust. You could say I think it's a Top site for CB. : )

I believe the flicker comes from either 1. PWM when using at less than full brightness, and/or 2. AC electrical system in like every home in the USA. So, no, high refresh rates don't mean flicker-free. Flicker can cause headaches and eye strain. Personally, I notice a big difference. You can test a screen by recording video at 240 FPS (Slow Motion) using most phones. You'll see the flicker upon playback. I did this with monitors on low, med, and high brightness and the flicker-free technology is real, not a gimmick.
