What you're doing with the VPN is essentially getting GPU for your country (I'm going to be using USA for the rest of this explanation) from 'Turkey'. After downloading the extension and turning on Windscribe for the one location in Turkey they offer for free, go redeem all the codes you just purchased, one at a time, at http://www.microsoft.c

After redeeming all your codes, go to https://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/gold/upgrade click "Upgrade Now for $1", it will bring you to the same page hotlinked by the OP. The site will prompt you to either upgrade for the USA or Turkey. You may have to refresh the page to get this prompt. You are upgrading to GPU for the United States for either $1 or $14.99/month, depending on whether or not you've upgraded before for $1, and it will say the price above the green button to Upgrade. If you're currently upgrading to GPU for Turkey it will say something like ₺44.99 above the green button. If you click 'Upgrade' for Turkey it will not allow you to move forward even if you try. As you upgrade for GPU for USA it will say when you'll be rebilled again before you finalize your billing and upgrade. As I did this today (10/16), it said I would be rebilled 10/17/2024. Through my online account, I had to manually turn off rebilling after going through the process of upgrading. I deleted the Windscribe extension after completing this process.
