AirPod 3rd gen isn't the airpod pros
Two different lineups, easy to get confused
AirPod pros have been out for a while airpod 3rd gen got announced at 10 am today. 3rd gen has better battery, similar form to airpod pros, but no rubber tip. Not much different besides that honestly, they advertised Dolby atmos/spacial audio a lot tho

To be fair, they did make the shape more like airpods pro. And the pros hurt my ears even without tip while gen 2 are super comfortable for me.

The Pros come with a couple different tips, so if you only tried the ones that come pre-installed, you may find a better fit with one of the others.

Yeah, but think about it logically. Why would they put ANC on the regular model and the pro? Who would buy the pro then? ANC is going to stay pro exclusive.
