Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
The sale is for the Roku Ultra LT 2019 model, not the 2021 model. It's equivalent to the Roku Ultra 2017 model which basically makes it 4 years old even though it was released 2 years ago.
Unless you really need an ethernet port and a MicroSD slot, the Roku Streaming Stick 4K 2021 that was released last month for the same price is the superior model:
Roku Streaming Stick 4K has the newer A55 CPU and 4GB of storage vs Roku Ultra LT 2019 which has the A53 CPU and 512MB of storage. They have the same RAM.
The Roku Streaming Stick 4K also supports Dolby Vision and the new AV1 codec which the Roku Ultra LT 2019 does not.
If you require Ethernet, the Roku Ultra 2020 is currently on sale for $70:
There website under the picture section shows dolby vision, so it is confusing. How 'bout you do the people that want to double check a favor and let the person ask their question and not be so restricting to people wanting to clarify who might be wondering the same thing. Thanks.
That's not good. I mostly watch YouTube on my current Roku. Roku stock is going to plummet even more.
It's a richard waving contest just like when Google pulled the same moves with Amazon on Firestick. As it stands now existing apps will continue to work they'll just be gone from new store downloads on Dec 9 until they work out the dispute. Now that Roku supports Apple Airplay and Android screen sharing it is easy enough to work around while it gets sorted out (and it will: Google has way more to lose revenue-wise than Roku since this is primarily over YouTube TV subscriptions and more data collection Roku is blocking).
If anything you should buy a Roku *because* it is standing up to deeper data collection demands from Google.
For the new model. New model purple box: says Dolby Vision on the front of the package. Blue box, this model no DV.
Can you do people a favor and not muddy up the conversation if you don't know what you are talking about? Thanks.

i kinda agree with you.. unless you need some of the features this one has that one doesn't. The Roku Ultra LT was a necessity for my dad because it has the headphone jack on the remote and he needs it to be able to hear properly. the Express does not have it.
So the fact that its being discounted to $30 vs $30 for the newer 3941 makes sense in my opinion. i'll be buying this when it hits $30
The Roku app, which works with any Roku model, lets you do headphone listening over WiFi - and that means you can use it wired or completely wireless with any Bluetooth headset. One of my favorite features!

You don't need to double check when one reply is correct and the other isn't. There is no opinion here.
I really value the USB port on the Ultra for playing my digital movies. It seems to be $69.99 everywhere at the moment. Does anyone know of a deal coming up on this model? If so I will wait.

This is a public forum, don't tell people what they need or don't need to do. Have a problem with it, you can make your own private forum where you and the only other person who can tolerate you can discuss at your hearts content how to restrict one another or what the other doesn't need! Thanks.

Funny, the hypocrisy of telling someone what they can and cannot do.
Bottomline is what if someone bought this for Dolby Vision based on his reply? Does he care? No. So with no repercussions why do you defend misinformation?

How good is the Bluetooth headphone jack listening via remote or app? Does the audio lag at all? I currently have aptX low latency transmitter and a supported headphone for headphone listening with Firestick but I want to buy this for someone who doesn't have my setup.

The LT has Dolby Vision, MU-MIMO and an ethernet port. Three things the 3941 4K+ do not.
(And I forgot about private listening... so four).
These two things are not in the same league, especially if you watch a lot of DV content.
The fact that you can get that for $30 in the Ultra LT is actually more of a big deal.
