You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Usually when I pick up things at best buy they do ask for id, although they don't input the info. I'm guessing the input of the info is to cross check with T-Mobile. If not I assume everyone, including those not on TMobile, can go in and take advantage of this offer without any repercussions.

For me looks like the deal when the 13 launched was better. $100 off phone and $220 trade in on a 7+. So $70 less total credit on this trade in promo. I don't need a new phone so I'll wait and see if BF is any better. Was just going to pass my XR to my son as he has the 7+.

He did bogo for two lines and port in other two lines to make 2x300, but he use Magenta Max plan what I think, most people doing bestbuy deal because they're on Simple Choice or T-Mobile One plan which cheap than Magenta Max.
