You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Don't let Best Buy try and activate a new SIM card. Just pop your old one in, if you already have a 5G card from the iPhone 12. They did a new SIM card for me and told me it was activated - it wasn't. Had to go to Tmobile and have them fix it.

I just reserved a gold pro max for ~5 weeks from now (Black Friday lol). Apparently I have already been charged for it and AppleCare. Have not turned in trade-in yet. Assume if a better deal arises, that BestBuy will either match or I can cancel and buy elsewhere, or rebuy. Is that correct?

So you were able to order and do store pick up weeks out?! I have not seen that offer when I try.

This couldn't have gone easier for me. As I had posted before I had to use another number on my account to get the deal to work on the website because Best Buy was claiming my number wasn't eligible to upgrade even though T-Mobile said it was when I called them to be sure. Went to customer service, picked up the phone and traded in my XR, he said I could go over to the mobile phone desk to get it activated or just go home and do it myself. So I walked out and popped in my old SIM once I got home. Worked perfectly.
