You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

best buy employee tacked on a $35 activation fee to the T-Mobile bill, but one call to T-Mobile and that charge was waived. Unfortunately was charged $9.99 for a new sim card even though the one in the 12 Pro I traded in was working fine.

I just exchanged a chat with an agent who confirmed this does include the $20 plan

Anyone know of any good credit card or gift card discounts for BestBuy?

So I ordered 13PM online and won't be ready for pickup till next week, just saw another store have 13PM in stock now but they don't offer online purchase. Do you all think can I go to that store to pick it up? Thanks

I ended up getting 6 iPhone 13 variants on this deal. I requested an unlock for one through a rep on the T-Mobile app and she processed it right away. Told me it takes 24 hours to finalize, but it showed unlocked immediately under the device unlock status in the T-Mobile app.
