You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

The pickup date for my Pro max 256GB is 11/12.
But BestBuy cancelled it on 10/24.

I got cancellation e-mail that said "
We were unable to activate the device you purchased on our site, so we had to cancel the item(s) included in your mobile package. We will now begin processing a refund for your payment.
anyone knows what this means or how to resolve it? I did a trade-in and had to bring my old device to store

I had the same issue. I was on the business essentials plan (for my family) and it has served no benefit. It's the same as the individual essentials plan afaik. Called tfb support before and they give me the runaround. Finally went to store, they said to call them back and tell them you want to do a "change of responsibility" and move to individual essentials plan. So I did just that and it was done in like 30 minutes and all good to go. Took effect right away and right after that I jumped on this deal with no problems, BestBuy online integration with TMobile worked just fine in verifying I qualified. Now just waiting for BB to get my phone in and I'll be rocking.

I believe you can bring another phone that is on your family plan as well. Assume you're the account owner (prob do not want to use that phone), if you have another phone (SO, kids, parents,etc) it should work. Afterwards pop the sim back out as you do not plan to keep the line anyway. I believe they just need an imei from another phone. Not sure if you can make two trips with the same phone.

Could be due to stock issues or error in their system. This happened to me three times for one store but the other store I tried worked fine

FYI - an update to the saga in case it helps anyone. I got a 13 pro max 128 graphite on the 22nd successfully for $125 after trading in a 12 pro max.

Ordered another for backorder by Nov 19th later that evening, and it was canceled the next afternoon (the 23rd) because they "couldn't activate it". Ordered again at another store and it was immediately canceled because they "encountered an error processing". Tried 5 more times, 5 more cancelations (two more "error processing", then 3 "exceeded orderable quantity limits".

Talked to Best Buy CS and after an hour and a half, they discovered my account had been locked out and that it would be 10 days before the accounts department could look into it. They said I wouldn't be able to use a different account because they were tracking my IP address, phone number, credit cards, address, etc etc etc.

My wife simply opened a new Best Buy account and it went through immediately, picked it up this morning. We seem to have gotten the last 256 gold pro max in the bay area, at least for now.

Moral of the story, if you get canceled, don't try again with the same account.

I just traded my iphone 12 pro in. I got a noob at the mobile area and got held up for 30 minutes. A senior associate walked by and was able to get me setup in 5 minutes. Pretty easy process if I only I didn't get the new employee.
