You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Question to the experts - I created an order for 13PM a few days back when the trade in value for the 12 mini was at $630. Fedex delivered the 12 Mini this morning and I realized to my horror that I had ordered the green (which is what they delivered) but the trade in I created was for black.

I tried chatting with BB help online but they had no clue and asked me to go to the store. 13PM ETA is 11/17 but I'm sure it will be here at least a week earlier.

Is it ok if I trade in a green mini instead of the black mini? Or does the whole thing needs to be redone?

Can I just feign ignorance at the time of pickup/tradein and hand over the green mini? Will it come to bite me back?

the 2nd 12 mini gets you $430 at Best Buy. So he 'made' a $100 profit by trading that phone in for a gc ONLY which helps pay for his pro max

Even after you take out the rsim?

Also does it need to be reformatted by a BB rep if so then 12 mini will be stock again.

So os it possible to do two 12 mini trade ins on the same tmobile line at BB for the 13? If so a different store is recommended? Thanks

Like I said before, THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT A DIFFERENT COLOR. You will have to cancel and reorder or do a new order in store after cancelling your current order.

I thought you neither have devices nor TMO account.

If Best Buy website allows you to order a PM on backorder for pick-up and trade-in in store, then do that.

I have never placed an order in-store. Since you already have trade-in devices and T-Mobile account you can give it a try and ask. I think others were able to get a store to order a device for your trade-in, but I haven't done it.

Color is not an issue. Don't say anything when the phone is being checked. If the rep says anything, be surprised that you must have mistakenly selected black initially.

yes, but you may not be understanding what that user did
he bought 2 12 minis
1 he traded for a gift card worth $430, so he 'made' $110 in Best Buy gift card (profit)
2nd one, he traded using his tmobile line to upgrade which gave him $630 off his pro max

so he traded the first one in order to get that $110 'free money' as a Best Buy gift card to help pay his pro max

You trade in one iPhone 12 Mini directly to best Buy to get $430 gift card and then you trade in another iPhone 13 mini to get $630 off the 13 Pro/PM. You would use the giftcard to pay for the difference.

IMO this is a bad deal and could be better if you have a Costco nearby by doing the BYOD deal first and then BB after.
