I want a 13pro max. It seems that all stores around me will have it by 12/17. Can I order it now and pick it up when it is in stock? Or it must be in store today?

Another thing to consider is this deal might expire 12/5 or 12/6 but if you order now and pickup 12/17 I wonder if you'd get the higher trade-in value?

How long after opening $20 line do i need to wait before upgrading through bb online? I opened an account this morning and im still not able to get through using number and last 4 of ssn

Apple Care+ would've been about ~$75 or 100/yr depending on 13 for the kids and 13PM for me and the wife. It's worth it just for the active lifestyle the younger one has, can't do anything about one stolen before... but 2x cracked screens and 1 water damage w/out Apple Care stings because at least the older boy would pony up for Apple Care on his own, but the second one doesn't. But add to it, that our future ipad or macbook purchases can more than likely be price matched at BB, we'll have those covered too.

All upgrade/purchases were entirely in-store, one store location at 3 different times. So looking at the receipts and actually crunching numbers, it now appears that the sales tax rate is for the store location; and lastly, the sales tax amount depends on if you pay the difference outright OR put it on a payment plan.

Our first one with balance paid outright was taxed just for the difference after trade-in. If you have the money or cards that have 0% interest for purchases until 12-18months this would be a good place to save a little bit more than the person that put it on a 0% payment plan. 256GB 13 for ~900 - 390= 510; 510 x 0.0975= $49.73

Here's where computations get weird, but I finally figured it out. Our three following purchases were put on payment plans with tmobile, and taxed for the (Full price - additional BB trade-in allowance ONLY). What I mean by that is so for me... Apple only gives $60 for a 6sPlus(fave spare lying around) but BB has the extra $150 on top. That $150 is the only part of the trade-in amount that reduces the computed sales tax, not the whole $210 trade-in.
A 128GB 13PM for ~1100-150= 950; 950 x 0.0975store location rate= $92.63 tax which checked out right on the receipt. The same goes for the BB extra $200 for the 11 and SE 2020, not the whole trade-in $540 of the 11, nor the whole $360 of the SE 2020. The same sample above would've cost $19.52 more putting it on a payment plan.

I want to add that there have been at least one reported case where even when paying in person in CA, tax on the full price of the phone was charged. But this doesn't seem to be the norm.

Like what zelo said, the promo might end or you might not get the extra trade-in offer.

If I were you, I'd do in-store trade-in now because they lock the promotions, you'll have the receipts and paperwork in hand when you leave.
And having read some comments... if you're in CA, the online purchase seems to be taxed for the full price, so why gamble online. The one caveat in-store is that they'll ask you to remove your case and screen protector to do an initial inspection, if it passes you have to keep that phone just as they saw it for when the 13PM finally gets there. So you'll either need to find an extra screen protector or be very careful with scratches.

Na the cost of 12 Mini was $299(from WM) and $295 from Sams Club. It went up now.

If anyone wants to get the $20 Talk & Text plan without going to a T-Mobile store or Costco, you can get it on T-Mobile's website through chat. They waive the service fee and ship by 2 day express.

Make sure you ask for the postpaid plan or they might try to set you up with one of the T-Mobile Connect prepaid plans.
